“It’s a movie that was lush on every level,” said Ryan Cohick, one of five people who participated in a podcast for The Brain Wrap on the film Call Me By Your Name.

The popular gay film was written by Andre Aciman, 66, a Sapharti Jew raised in Egypt who teaches Marcel Proust and in 2007 won the Gay Fiction award from the Lambda Literary Review.
Participants in the podcast were Clarke Stephanic, Brain Wrap producer; moderator Nick Lucier, who studies communications at Penn State Harrisburg; Frank Pizzoli, Central Voice founder and long-time writer for Lambda Literary Review; film buffs Josh Wacker, who studied film at Messiah College; Andrew Zelinski (who speaks fluent Italian), and Cohick, who read Aciman’s book set in Italy; and Josh Wacker, who studied film at Messiah College.
