Two playwrights – Margaret Hopkins, MS research assistant, and Martha Peaslee Levine, MD – will present their one-act play, “Cutting to the Truth,” performed by Penn State College of Medicine employees at noon Friday, Sept. 8, in Room C2860 of the College of Medicine.
The playwrights encourage the audience to consider how assumptions, variable points of views and biases influenced the story of Lizzie Borden, who was acquitted of a controversial murder in Massachusetts 125 years ago. In addition, consideration will be given to how these factors affect relationships within the field of healthcare.
This event is free and open to the public. For details, email Claire de Boer at firstname.lastname@example.org or call the Department of Humanities at 717-531-6423.
